Between October 28 and November 3, the GNR’s weekly operations led to the identification of 906 traffic violations, 41 arrests, and numerous seizures.
Among the 41 arrests, 15 were for driving under the influence of alcohol, eight for driving without a license, and one for drug trafficking.
In terms of traffic violations, 542 were related to speeding, 65 for failure to complete mandatory periodic inspections, 64 for issues with lighting and signaling systems, 23 for improper use of a mobile phone while driving, 18 for not wearing or improperly using seat belts, and 17 for driving without civil liability insurance.
The GNR also responded to 113 accidents, which led to 19 minor injuries and two serious injuries.
