UAE Expands Visa-on-Arrival Access for Indian Nationals
Indian nationals holding Green Cards or residence permits from six additional countries can now avail themselves of visa-on-arrival entry into the UAE. This expansion enhances travel opportunities for Indian passport holders seeking entry into the UAE.
Effective from February 13, 2025, the new UAE visa-on-arrival policy includes Indian citizens with valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Previously, this benefit was limited to those holding valid documentation from the United States, United Kingdom, and European Union member states.
To qualify, Indian travelers must meet the UAE’s entry requirements, including:
- A valid Indian passport with at least six months of validity
- A valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card from one of the eligible countries
UAE Visa-on-Arrival Fees for Indian Nationals
The UAE has introduced three visa categories for Indian travelers, each with affordable fees:
- 4-day visa: AED 100
- 14-day visa extension: AED 250
- 60-day visa: AED 250
This initiative aims to simplify travel procedures for Indian citizens while offering greater opportunities for tourism, residency, and employment in the UAE.
