This new feature is now accessible to millions of informational and educational channels in the YouTube Partner Program and will soon be rolled out to a broader audience.
With this feature, creators can dub their English-language videos into languages such as French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, or Spanish. Similarly, videos in these languages can be dubbed into English, enhancing accessibility for a global audience.
YouTube is introducing an automated process for dubbing videos, allowing creators to preview their content before publishing. Dubbed versions will be accessible in the “Languages” section of YouTube Studio and will be labeled with “Auto-Dub” for easy identification.
To showcase this feature, the platform has shared three sample videos: two dubbed from French and Hindi into English, and one featuring various dubbing options for English. This innovation aims to enhance global reach and content accessibility for creators.
