Sources: ICC and BCCI Displaying Flexibility Following PCB’s Strong Position
Sources: ICC and BCCI Showing Willingness to Adapt After PCB’s Firm Position
The International Cricket Council (ICC) was expected to announce a new model for the Champions Trophy on December 7 (Saturday).
According to sources, both the ICC and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have shown increasing flexibility following the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) firm stance on the matter.
Reports suggest that a breakthrough is imminent, with a hybrid model likely to be implemented for the next three years. This arrangement would allow Pakistan to avoid traveling to India for ICC events.
Indian media outlets have claimed that Pakistan’s proposal has been accepted, though the ICC’s key meeting in Dubai on Thursday ended without a formal resolution.
