A man of Indian nationality was detained by the PSP for invading a house in Leiria, during the night of Sunday 23/02. According to the owner of the property, inside the house were three minors, the two children and a friend who had been taken hostage.
“My children were held hostage inside their own house by an Indian, he broke into my house which is super safe and threatened my children with a knife.” Says mother.
The PSP confirmed that the suspect was sitting on top of the kitchen table of the house and that, in front of him, he had a knife. The man had an intimidating attitude.
This is the same man who on February 21, invaded the Domingos Sequeira Secondary School, in Leiria, and approached a 16-year-old student, to whom he proposed to have sexual relations.
The criminal would have been taken by the PSP to the Leiria Hospital, after the minor asked for help by cell phone. The suspect underwent a psychiatric evaluation. He was not hospitalized and, at the time, was released pending the criminal investigation.
The man was already indicted for more than 30 crimes committed in Marinha Grande.
Both the minor’s mother and the school management had filed a complaint.
