Airports of Thailand (AOT) anticipates that Suvarnabhumi Airport will welcome over 200,000 passengers on New Year’s Day. To ensure smooth operations, AOT has increased staffing at critical service points, including providing assistance at self-check-in kiosks and automated baggage drop areas.
Passengers are also encouraged to register for biometric facial recognition to expedite their processing. Enhanced security measures are in place, with additional patrols and a focus on passenger service.
Keerati Kitmanawat, head of Suvarnabhumi Airport’s executive team, stated that the airport has collaborated with authorities, airlines, and other businesses to ensure passenger safety.
In the spirit of the New Year, the airport is offering gifts to travelers. Passengers departing from the fourth-floor terminal will receive Travel Kit sets as a gesture of goodwill.
