Study in Malta: Student Visas & Permits

  1. Completed visa application form – Available from your nearest Maltese embassy or consulate’s website.
  2. Passport and two passport-sized photos.
  3. Letter of acceptance from your educational institution, confirming that your course lasts longer than three months.
  4. Proof of financial means – You must demonstrate that you have at least €18 per day to cover living expenses for the duration of your course.
  5. Proof of accommodation in Malta.
  6. Health insurance – Coverage must be a minimum of €30,000 within the EU.
  7. Proof of return – Evidence of your intention to leave Malta after your course, such as a return flight or ferry ticket.
