The Republican National Guard (GNR) is conducting an inspection operation on goods and passenger vehicles, which will take place from today through Sunday.
In a statement, the GNR explained that the goal of the “RoadPol – Heavy Goods and Passenger Vehicles” operation is to ensure safe conditions for the transport of people and goods, as well as to identify violations of traffic laws.
The operation will focus on the most critical roads and areas with high traffic volumes for this type of vehicle.
RoadPol, of which the GNR is a member and national representative, is a European organization formed by traffic police to enhance road safety and enforce laws more effectively.
“The purpose of this initiative is to raise awareness about the importance of safer driving habits among professional drivers, aiming to promote road safety and protect human lives,” the GNR added in the statement.
