If you are selected, carefully follow the instructions provided on the Entrant Status Check page. It is important to act quickly, as selection does not guarantee a visa. All necessary steps, including attending a visa interview and submitting required documents, must be completed within the set time frame, and the number of available visas is limited.
Be cautious of scams. The U.S. government will not send emails, text messages, or phone calls to notify you of selection. Any unsolicited messages claiming you have won the DV lottery should be ignored. Checking your result is free of charge.
Entrants can check their status starting May 4, 2025, and the status check will remain open until September 30, 2026.
